On the bright side
I had a good Thanksgiving. My dad took me out shopping yesterday for business casual clothes for work and a wool coat to wear when I dress up, etc. Yay for clothes!

Grargh
Today I missed the second attempted delivery of a package because it came after the usual time (I missed the first delivery because I was expecting it on Friday, but UPS was closed Friday) and I had to pick up friends at the airport.
It took at least an hour extra to pick up friends at the airport because of, I'm guessing, an accident on or near the connector I needed. After actually getting out of the situation it took another several minutes to find my way back to the highway I needed away from the accident (you know, not before the accident requiring me to drive through the situation again).
I did a ton of laundry, at least half of which didn't dry. I'll be ironing tomorrow if you need any thing done.
I found out another package will be delivered to my old lab because even though I deleted that address it was the primary one when I preordered the book.
And the fifth light bulb since Thursday went out on me. That's more bizarre than annoying but it does require me to stand on a chair and mess with a poor light design in the kitchen. Two of the last five bulbs were in the kitchen as well and those bulbs separated as I was switching them out so the metal screw part stayed in the socket but the glass came out. Then I had to squeeze two metal prongs together to get the glass light covering on (the poor design I'm speaking of). I'll deal with this tomorrow.
I'm having pie and egg nog for dinner. ;)

Good day
I got a job for my birthday! With Pfizer. I'm excited and nervous but mostly really looking forward to it.

Oh come on
In the past week I've had two pairs of pajama pants develop tears in the butt. Well, not so much a tear as a regular worn hole that just happens to be parallel to the ground. They didn't so much catch on something and rip. But (ha ha) still, my pajama pant count is now cut in half (not including shorts). If anyone sees a sale let me know.
Seriously, the butt?
