Not for weak stomachs
My endoscopy last week went well. I have some irritation from reflux that is being treated now but I need further tests on gall bladder function. The sweet part is the photo of my esophagus and stomach they gave me. I'm so geeky, I was so happy to find it in my folder as I left the hospital. I think I'm going to frame it.

Happy Easter
I woke up with a migraine this morning that would not go away. I took two imitrex, which worked before, but it would not go away. It was probably the second worse migraine pain I've ever had but it lasted a lot longer. So I went to the ER. They treated me almost immediately, gave me a shot of some pain killer (in the ass) and let me hang around for about an hour before releasing me. My head still hurts a little but I feel much better now. I even had a little to eat.
I really hope this doesn't happen again.

Stupid winter
I've had a flu the last week and a half. Again. I feel like I just got over a flu and a week or so later was sick again. I'm tired of being a tired cranky pants. I haven't been doing much more than sleeping and working, it's lame. I heard this flu season was especially bad; that the strain the vaccine was made for is still strong enough that people are getting sick who had the vaccine and that there are other strains out there that are quite virulent that weren't included in the vaccine. Unfortunately, sleeping all day doesn't help so I just have to ride this out. Working less just means the work will pile up. I still left early a few times though.
On the bright side my talk in Boston went really well. I'll have to spend another weekend in Boston when the weather gets nicer and I don't have a meeting to attend.
Now off to do my huge pile of laundry.
